We had breakfast here and all the food was really good. The bacon was great! The decor is garage/service station chic. Cute. The waitress was not super friendly so that's why no 5 star.

**HORRIBLE** ## DISGUSTING## Ordered 2 go, got home and opened our 3 boxes and was absolutely blown away at the tiniest amount of horribly looking food. Each box had 8 french fries, paid extra for tomato & onion on cheese burger?!? should have walked away at that point. Ordered a "Reuben sandwich" $10 with fries. OMG it was the size of a childs sandwich on the kiddy menu at most restaurants, and DRY DRY DRY, of course got 8 french fries in that order too. Gross and $$$ for crap!

If you're a fan of Harley Davidson or Nascar, you'll enjoy the decor of Jo Jo's Family Restaurant. I had the opportunity to stop in recently for breakfast with my nephew -- who loved the pancakes. The bacon & cheese omelete was thin and tasty, as were the handbrowns. The bread used for their toast is homemade. I often judge diners by the quality of their biscuits and gravy... so I had some sausage gravy ladelled over the handbrowns. The gravy was 'light' (not thick) with good flavor. I'm anxious to try their corned beef hash and eggs benedict. Since this diner is located close to my house, I expect to return often.

Done giving this place second third and fourth chances. I love diners and was excited when jo jos opened. The food is inexpensive and the decor is spot on for a real American diner. The charm ends there. I have been there a dozen times and never have they gotten my order right. I don't try to change things or substitute items, they just can't get it right. Order scrambled eggs you get sunnies. Order a coke you get mountain dew... If it comes at all. Extremely long waits and frazzled waitstaff makes for a joyless time. My last time was the last straw. They were out of most everything including eggs. Supermarket less than 5 min away and with two waitresses working 4 tables GO GET SOME EGGS! I ordered chicken ala king and when it came There was big old hair right on top. Gross. The waitress did appoligze and thats the only reason they got two stars instead of one. Diners are a dime a dozen and I recommend spending your dimes someplace else.

Jo Jos Family Restaurant is wonderful. It's clean, service was friendly and quick, and the food is wonderful. All homemade. And they had polka music playing! We will be back.
